PPDS US new Event Marketing Specialist
Cato Networks has appointed Tristan Elder as Vice President of EMEA Channel. In this role, Elder will drive Cato’s EMEA channel initiatives, expanding the company’s partner programme with a strategic focus on global systems integrators, managed service providers, Cato Networks VP EMEA Channel
PPDS North America has appointed Nicole Rutherford as Event Marketing Specialist. Based in Hudson, Florida, Nicole will report to Director of North America Marketing, Megan Lipinczyk. In her role as Event Marketing Specialist Nicole will support PPDS’ day to day marketing efforts with a strong focus on events, partner engagement, and sales enablement. These responsibilities will incorporate coordinating logistics for trade shows and regional events, such as the upcoming InfoComm 2026, managing marketing assets, supporting digital and social content, and working with both national and regional partners to help drive brand awareness and engagement. This year, InfoComm is being held 13 to 19 June, and Philips is on Booth C9000. Megan Lipinczyk, Director of North America Marketing at PPDS, said: “Since walking through the door, Nicole has demonstrated a highly organized, proactive, and detail driven approach to marketing execution, with core strengths in event planning, cross functional communication, and attention to detail.” n

SonicWall appoints SVP, Global Channels and Alliances
SonicWall has appointed Jonathan Berger as Senior Vice President, Global Channels and Alliances. In this role, Berger will lead the company’s worldwide partner strategy and drive growth across its MSP/MSSP, and reseller ecosystem, where he will be responsible for deepening partner engagement, accelerating recurring revenue opportunities and ensuring SonicWall’s channel program delivers measurable outcomes for partners of every size and model.
