Imagine Nation How many times can you say, “I was there!” at glorious live events? Well, here we go, UC Advanced was there at Giacom’s Imagine Nation, and it was a truly special event. The photos paint a thousand words, but we would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the event’s purpose and marvellous sponsors, and for those that missed it give some key insights into the event. The brainchild of Giacom and their Sponsors, Giacom’s CEO Terry O’Brien had been waiting for years to put on a channel- experience and that anticipation came to an end on one fabulously sunny afternoon against the iconic backdrop of London’s Southbank on 27 June. The Giacom team wanted to create a fantastic, fun event to reward their partners and to provide numerous networking opportunities in a relaxed and friendly environment, and they certainly achieved that. The event, which went well into the evening, drew close to 1,000 Giacom partners, featured an array of exciting performances and experiences. Guests were spoiled for choice with the rich selection of street foods, large variety of drink options, and an impressive lineup of tribute artists honouring Queen, Coldplay, Take That and Fleetwood Mac. A standout moment was Shaun Williamson, known for playing Barry Evans on EastEnders , who brought
to the stage, inviting members of the audience to sing alongside him. Closing the evening’s lineup was a sensational surprise performance by celebrity DJ Martin Kemp of Spandau Ballet fame. His set added an extra layer of excitement to an already spectacular evening, leaving the audience in high spirits. The event was made possible with the generous support of sponsors Sky Business Wholesale, Microsoft, CityFibre, BT Wholesale, PXC, Pangea, Virgin Media O2, Barracuda, and Acronis. Their contributions helped create an extraordinary experience for all attendees.
