Hotel TVs today are way more capable than the old “10 channels and a channel guide” experience.
Smart hotel TVs can often support built-in casting such as Google Cast, let guests stream Netflix, YouTube or Prime Video from their own devices, all securely doing so without logging in on the TV. Casting has become an essential part of the modern guest experience, with hotel groups increasingly looking to make it a brand standard. Most modern hospitality models come with preloaded OTT apps or support app marketplaces, so guests can browse content just like at home.
