UC Advanced - Issue #8

Streamlining Acronis Billing for MSPs Managing billing for Acronis services as an MSP can be a cumbersome and time-consuming task. Typically, MSPs receive separate bills from their cloud distributors for the Acronis services they resell. Invoicing each customer for their Acronis usage involves logging into the Acronis platform, downloading usage reports, and manually calculating costs based on individual service usage, by units, seconds or bytes. This process is not only laborious but also prone to errors, particularly when dealing with low-cost line items.

MSP Challenges

Managing billing for Acronis MSPs are receiving the Acronis bills as a PDF file or Spreadsheet by email from service providers. The file is the total usage for each cloud service, which requires lots of time and energy to calculate the exact usage of each end-customer for invoicing. No detailed end-customer cloud billing The file that MSPs are receiving from service providers does not provide the end-customer usage. Lack of cost and price breakdowns The cost of usage for MSPs and the price for end-customers are not available through the file that service providers are sending to MSPs. Difficult to invoice end customers based on their exact usage Because of no indication of usage, cost and price, it's not possible to calculate the exact price to invoice the end customer. © 2024 Cloud in the Channel
