I love January. It affords a brief point in time where planning comes to the fore, for quite a few of us anyway, regardless of when your company’s financial year end is. It’s that time in the year when we hear from vendors and suppliers about what we can expect from 2025 with products and services, and no matter how we crossed the 2024 finish line, whether limping or sprinting, we can put it behind us and start afresh. Globally, change is afoot, and we’re setting off at pace. Changes in leadership in the US and UK spell out fresh thinking, what we think of those “fresh thoughts” on taxing and tariffs is another matter.
