Sahoo ascends to President of Global Platform Group
Ingram Micro has promoted Sanjib Sahoo to President of its Global Platform Group. Highly regarded Sahoo will lead the development of Ingram Micro’s digital twin, Xvantage™ by continuously enhancing customer and vendor interactions and creating further value. Previously Sahoo advanced the B2B technology platform, which features AI-driven capabilities for real-time interactions and data insights. Now used in 16 countries, Xvantage aims to transform the tech industry from being transactional to interactive.

Grinnell is TD SYNNEX’s new EVP and CIO TD SYNNEX has appointed Kristie Grinnell as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective 20 January 2025. “Kristie brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of transformational leadership that will strengthen how we harness the power of data and digital to deliver personalized, targeted customer engagement and operational excellence,” said Patrick Zammit, CEO, TD SYNNEX. “We thank Bonnie (Smith, outgoing CIO) for her four years of service to TD SYNNEX and for serving as an important partner as Kristie comes onboard.” Grinnell, who will be based in the Clearwater office, joins TD SYNNEX from DXC Technology, and she is an award-winning advocate for women in STEM.

Westcoast has a new Lenovo BDM
Qualcomm Technologies Incorporated recently announced the appointment of Dr. Baaziz Achour to the role of Chief Technology Officer, effective 3 February 2025. Dr. Achour currently serves as Deputy Chief Technology Officer and takes the reins from Dr. James Thompson, who is retiring. “As CTO, Baaziz will lead Qualcomm’s R&D and engineering organizations, with responsibility for our technology strategy and execution. Baaziz will continue to extend Qualcomm’s leadership in wireless communications, computing and AI. I look forward to partnering with Baaziz in his new role,” said Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm Incorporated.
Elton Vinyu has joined Westcoast in the capacity of Lenovo ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group) Business Development Manager. After
